Tall,Taller and now Tallest!

Now we have a new 'Tallest' building in the world and its location is in Dubai.it seems that we are indeed reaching to the heavens.the Burj Dubai tower is now taller than the last years record holder,Taipei 101.the Burj tower is still under construction but when complete it is set to soar 141 stories over all those tiny little buildings.personally I do not see why we should build towers soaring so high but i guess beauty is indeed in the eye of the beholder.
But the one thing that we must all take precautions with is natural disasters as the tall buildings are quite prone to earthquakes,so i hope that they have taken the necessary measures In the construction.of course having such a building could be quite a prestige issue for the entire country in this case Dubai. The 141-storey Burj Dubai tower, once completed, will house residential, commercial and retail property.
It will also have consumed 39,000 tonnes of steel and will have 56 lifts travelling at 1.75 to 10 metres per second.so lets all wait for a few more months and once it is complete, the tower would in all probability be thrown open to the public and then we can all take a lift to the clouds and see what is the fuss all about!
