The cost of New Zealand vacation!

It is one thing to just read about an adventure in a book and totally another to experience it oneself. New Zealand offers just that, a load of adventure and all of them 'hands on'. New Zealand is a land of such pristine beauty and of such contrasts that it is bound to take away the breath of any person visiting it for the very first time. It is a place that imbibes an air of adventure even if all you plan to do is to stay in your hotel room. The length and the breadth of this place will stay in your memory for many a year to come, it sure will for me!

If this is your very first trip to this natural wonder, then you should start by landing in Auckland. It is natural for us to think that such a vacation in a place like New Zealand would be too expensive, that need not be the case. There are many hotels in Auckland that offer discount accommodations. You can make Auckland your base and start your exploration from there. There are many offers made by the tourism department just for the travelers and with good quality accommodation and discounted offers, the trip would not be as expensive as you had feared.

In Auckland, there are many things that you can do, especially if you are one for the adventure sports. You can do a bit of the Abseiling/Rappelling, take a boat cruise or go diving. The thing that I loved the most in Auckland was the close encounters with dolphins. From here, you can go to Wellington which is a place that will change your perceptions forever. On having reached Wellington, you can go ahead and look for quality accommodations and once you have done that, you can start by exploring the city. As the name suggests, this is one city that has had a colorful past and it will not bore you in the least. You can just take a walk and Experience Stansborough for a surreal experience or take a trip to the pataka to come to grips with a bit of the Maori culture!

From Wellington, you can travel to Christchurch, where you can get some of the very best accommodations at discounted rates. In Christchurch one can experience the Nevada fever at the Christchurch Casino or do a bit of fishing with the New Zealand Four Seasons Safaris or go sky diving. All in all, you should be able to experience everything from the sky to the cellar, all in one place. This is indeed a land of vivid contrasts.

In the beginning, like you I too was very worried as to how expensive is my New Zealand vacation going to be, but then I was very pleasantly surprised. The trip to New Zealand is something that no one in his or her right mind should ever miss out on. So make use of the cheap but good quality accommodation links above and I am sure that you will stop worrying about your wallet and start enjoying yourself! Have a great trip!

Wall Street floating on high expectations!

After the Friday losses, a badly shaken Wall Street is keeping its hopes up in anticipation of another slash in the rates by the Fed. It seems that these days the market seems to follow a philosophy of 'one day at a time'. The recent dismal showing by the housing market is still setting waves in the industry with more and more banks introducing more and more stringent rules regarding loans. Let us just say that the lending part by the banks is going to become less and less for the near future.
With such a poor showing and a fall by more than 26% in the sales of new homes, the markets reacted with a 'knee jerk' reaction. That is only to be expected.

But would the Fed slash rates this soon and if they do so, what would be the impact on an already weak Dollar? Wouldn't there be a free fall? As it is the Dollar has lost so much of its value against a host of major currencies and today it holds supreme only over those currencies whose rates are still stringently controlled by their central banks. My two bits is that the Fed would slash the rates but it may not come as early as the wall street thinks. It would probably happen around the end of the fiscal year, thereby giving the new Financial year a boost as well. But then again, it may happen soon, either way, it is time for a martini, dry, shaken but not stirred!

Tshirts made 4 you?

Well, this is the age of the Internet and there is no reason as to why one cannot design ones own T-shirt. I had started this blog for anything related to money and profit but I had since then expanded it to contain some of the good offers that I had come across the net as well. This one falls in the later category.
I was getting tired of seeing the same branded T-shirts on myself as well as my friends. Remember the craze that we all had for the latest branded T -shirts, well my query to you all is why on earth should we advertise freely for these big companies and pay them good money at the same time. I think that it is high time that we all stood up and decided to become an 'individual' instead of just one of the pack. It is high time that we gave that creative spark of ours one big kick and tried our hand in Tshirt Printing.
This site is really great, one can design ones shirt or upload images and see how they would look on a T-shirt. The great thing is that all these tryouts are for free, so you can just go on designing until you find that perfect one that you want. What makes this site different from the others is that these guys, unlike others, do not charge any set up fee for trying to Design T-shirts Online. All in all, I have to say that this site is fantastic and is definitely a must have on my list. I personally think that this is a good offer for all of us and one can even categorize this as a discount compared to the prices that the others charge. Anyway, if you are tired of wearing the same brand, just visit these guys!

The home sales data shatters the myth!

This image is old and does NOT reflect current data!

Even as Paulson urges the senate to consider the stimulus package, the myth that was being spread by all the king's men and courtiers was that 'all was fine with the American economy' and that it was business as usual. And then the idea of a tax rebate came about and it sounded some good cheer all across the U.S.A.
But sadly though, it was all a myth and the recent data regarding the housing market clearly underlines that more than ever.

According to the data, the sale of new homes fell by more than 26.4% last year and that is by a whopping 700,000 and more. It is the lowest level that the sale of new homes has reached in almost two decades. Recently the Fed slashed rates and Wall Street reacted late and started to come slowly out of the red into the green.

I am sure that most of you who are reading this would have seen the cheerful faces of many a trader on the news that day. But that was , sadly, a knee jerk reaction and momentum not withstanding, it soon ran into troubled waters on the back of 'Hedge funds affair'.
Now with the latest installment from the commerce department, one can only wonder why is it that we are all so ready to believe in the Myth?

Want to vacuum your money?

With the economy staggering along and with the markets seeking new depths in the financial world, these days our money is getting vacuumed away. One of the things that has seen a sudden surge in the price tags is the consumer durables and household items. I have to say that of all the consumer items that one cannot do without is the vacuum,it plays a pivotal role in all of our homes. With the economy swinging from one end to the other and with the oil prices reaching new heights, most of the consumer items are getting priced higher and higher. But that is not the case with the dyson vacuum cleaners.

Most of the household items cost an arm and a leg these days. It is no wonder that most of the consumers are not willing to spend any money. But of the good quality vacuums that are available in the market today, it is the dyson vacuum cleaners which are still available at very attractive rates. Normally I would have thought that the prices for such a good quality line of vacuums would be hitting the roof. But it seems that the Dyson line is very consumer friendly. With all the negative news that we have been getting of late, this is indeed one welcome bit of news.

You can always check out the site by going to the link above and I have to say that the site is well designed and showcases a whole range of products. I never knew that vacuums come with allergy free bags, at least, I did not know until i saw the dyson vacuum cleaners. So we can be sure of getting the best buy in the market and in addition, products that actually look out for us. So, if you want to take a look at some good quality vacuums then click on the link and come on in!

Paulson urges the senate on stimulus package!

The treasury secretary seems to have his hand full these days as the stimulus package is becoming a hard one to sell. Today saw Paulson urging the senate to consider the stimulus package and let us not forget that it is this package which is rumored to contain tax rebates.
But of course the bigger question as to who is going to actually benefit by such rebates remains an academic question. But common sense suggests that the ones that would most benefit by such rebates would be the big honchos starting from the banks like citigroup to the housing industry. Would the markets respond positively if such a package is passed by the senate? Well, the may but the market needs a continued consumer confidence if it is to rein in the bear and let the bull loose!

The best financing options!

The market seems to sway to the winds more than they do to the actual figures. Even a rumor brings the markets down these days. With the economy staggering along, the chances of getting hold of a loan or a financing option seems to be fast disappearing. These are the times that most of us need some amount of Start Up Financing to help us get by.
Normally we would approach the banks for this, but with the current status of the economy, none of the banks are willing to issue any help with Start Up Financing.
This site is really good in the sense that besides offering help with out finances, they make sure that any loan application for any Start Up Financing, takes the least amount of time for approval. What is more, they also make sure that you get the cash the very moment that your application is approved. All in all, these guys are more dependable for a loan than the bank these days!
